Job Description

AFPS - Accurate Fire Protection & Security is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test fire alarm systems to identify any defects or malfunctions
  • Install new fire alarm systems and equipment, including sensors, control panels, and notification appliances
  • Repair and replace defective or worn-out parts and components using specialized tools and equipment
  • Diagnose and locate faults in fire alarm systems, including circuit, component, and equipment issues
  • Adjust, align, and replace fire alarm equipment and assemblies as needed
  • Complete work orders, test reports, and maintenance records to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in fire alarm system installation, testing, and maintenance
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
