Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at 911 Construction. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Project cash flow and financing requirements
  • Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms
  • Utilize quantity take-off procedures
  • Advise on tendering procedures
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  • Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
  • Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of estimating packages, take-off packages, scheduling packages, database, spreadsheet, MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
