Job Description:
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at 911 Construction. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of construction costs for various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
- Project cash flow and financing requirements
- Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms
- Utilize quantity take-off procedures
- Advise on tendering procedures
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
- Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
- Civil Commercial and/or industrial construction experience
- Industrial construction experience
- Institutional construction experience
- Residential construction experience
- Estimating packages
- Take-off packages
- Scheduling packages
- Database Spreadsheet MS Excel MS Word SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD)
