About the Role:

The Government of Alberta is seeking highly motivated and well-organized individuals to fill Maintenance Service Worker positions in the Red Deer District. As a Park Maintenance Service Worker, you will be part of a team responsible for providing regular maintenance and operational duties that support the day-to-day operation of campgrounds, day use areas, facilities, and trail systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily cleaning of washroom facilities, campground sites, and other facilities
  • Performing groundskeeping and landscaping duties, such as lawn maintenance, invasive plant management, beach cleaning, and trail maintenance
  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance on infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment
  • Operating equipment such as mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, etc.
  • Installing and maintaining signage
  • Reporting all maintenance concerns to Crew Leads and Maintenance Supervisors
