About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to lead our childcare program at our newly renovated Long Branch location in Etobicoke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the growth and development of children aged 1.5 to 10 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging child care programming ideas that promote creative play, social skill development, and learning.
  • Lead a team of educators in providing high-quality care and education to children, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver programs that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure seamless transitions and a positive experience for all.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and implement new ideas and approaches to enhance our program.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with children as a RECE in a group setting.
  • Fluency in English, both in writing and speaking.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C/AED Certification.
  • Membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (ECE's only).
