About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Leader to oversee our real estate portfolio in the Americas region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives, leading the real estate team, and executing transactions, managing assets, and developing real estate strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain real estate strategies that support long-term business objectives.
- Provide strategic recommendations and implement real estate plans with an understanding of GHD's strategic real estate goals.
- Manage our outsourced property service partner in performing a large volume and variety of real estate transaction projects.
- Ensure timely action is taken on real estate critical dates (renewals, expirations, and terminations).
- Develop and present relevant real estate portfolio reporting to senior management and provide regular status reporting to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across and at all levels in the organization and external to the business to deliver the optimum real estate outcome.
Requirements
- Knowledge of real estate leasing practices.
- Ability to work independently, assess priorities, and manage a variety of activities while collaborating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of people.
- Understands how to review, analyze, and interpret financial analysis templates, including cash flow projections and NPV analyses.
- Be well-organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent customer and client management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards relating to corporate real estate.
