We're currently seeking a highly skilled Project Analyst to join our team at our head office in downtown Halifax. This full-time position involves close collaboration with project managers, the finance team, and general counsel to ensure seamless project execution.


Job Description
  • Data analysis and reporting: We need someone who can effectively analyze data and create comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Budget development, management, and cost control: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed financial models to support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Commercial project operations: We require a professional who can oversee project expenses, monitor financial performance, and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project Finance:
    • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
    • Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to secure project funding and manage financial reporting requirements.
  • Investment Tax Credit Process:
    • Oversee the application, tracking, and compliance of ITC credits for eligible projects.
    • Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure all documentation aligns with tax credit requirements.
    • Liaise with tax advisors and auditors to validate credit eligibility and compliance.
  • Funding Source Coordination:
    • Manage Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit process.
    • Manage multiple funding streams, including grants, loans, and private investments, ensuring timely and accurate allocation.
    • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on funding utilization and performance metrics.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with funding agencies, lenders, and investors.
    Requirements

We're looking for a highly detail-oriented and analytical individual with excellent communication skills and ability to make decisions adapt to changing circumstances. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a project financial administration or related role is required.

A post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is essential, along with proficiency in financial software and tools.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus opportunities for growth and professional development in a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
