Job Title: Renewable Energy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Manager to join our team at GE Renewable Energy Canada inc.

Job Summary:

The Renewable Energy Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, ensuring that they meet the company's objectives and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate the development and implementation of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and hydroelectric power generation.
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy project management, including wind, solar, and hydroelectric power generation.
  • Proven track record of leading and coordinating complex projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
