Job Summary

The Nursing Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of care and services to our clients. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop care plans for clients, ensuring their unique needs are met
  • Supervise and support our team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and coaching as needed
  • Coordinate clinical education and in-service activities to ensure our team is up-to-date on the latest best practices
  • Lead business development initiatives, working with our team to identify new opportunities and grow our business
  • Participate in local healthcare and business committees, promoting Bayshore Healthcare and our values

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current registration in good standing with the provincial regulating body
  • At least five years of recent experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a community setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations in a professional and objective manner
