Job Summary

The Nursing Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of care and services to our clients. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop care plans for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Supervise and support a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and coaching as needed.
  • Coordinate clinical education and in-service activities, ensuring our team stays up-to-date on the latest best practices.
  • Lead business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to grow our services and improve client outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, working to enhance our services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current registration in good standing with the provincial regulating body.
  • At least five years of recent experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a community setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in business development and quality improvement initiatives.
