Job Summary

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

The Medical Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, taking images of patients, and analyzing results to ensure accurate diagnoses. They will work closely with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various types of imaging equipment, including mammography machines;
  • Take high-quality images of patients to help diagnose medical conditions;
  • Analyze image results to identify any abnormalities or issues;
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient imaging and analysis results;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT);
  • College/CEGEP diploma or degree in a related field;
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical imaging;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
