Loss Prevention Associate

About the Role:
As a Loss Prevention Associate at UNIQLO, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our assets and ensuring the safety of customers and employees. Reporting to the Store Manager and Area Loss Prevention Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and executing Loss Prevention initiatives and policies within your assigned location.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement Loss Prevention initiatives and policies to protect company assets and ensure customer and employee safety.
- Train store personnel on Loss Prevention policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Detect and safely apprehend shoplifters, recover merchandise, and assist with internal investigations.
- Utilize Loss Prevention technology, including CCTV, Access Control, EAS, and exception-based reporting systems.
- Provide support for financial inventory and RFID-based cycle counts.
- Foster collaboration with other LP team members and store teams to identify common issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection.
- Full understanding of Canadian federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.
- Provincially licensed and able to interface with law enforcement and legal professionals.
- Experience with Loss Prevention technology and methods, including CCTV, covert surveillance, and Intrusion Detection systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Problem-solver and results-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
