About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Records Specialist to join our team at Comfort Property Management. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Job Description
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Post journal entries, accurately recording financial transactions and events.
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, helping management make informed decisions.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action to maintain financial accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a private sector setting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
