Avionics Systems Specialist

Scalian is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Avionics Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the integration and certification of Integrated Cockpit Solutions for civil and military aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Support customer pursuits, including creating technical proposals and reviewing customer statements of work.
- Design and develop integrated avionics solutions, including block diagrams, physical and data ICDs, wiring diagrams, and system test procedures.
- Manage requirements and compliance to customer and certification regulation requirements using DOORS.
- Support certification process at aircraft level and address issues/problems during development/certification.
- Stay up-to-date with the state-of-the-art in avionics systems and work collaboratively within a project team.
- Bachelor of Electrical or Computer Engineering; advanced degrees or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years experience in complex avionics systems.
- Good English report writing skills and experience in requirements capture and management using DOORS.
- Knowledge of civil and/or military specification standards and practices, such as ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178, DO-254, and DO-297.
- Prior experience with avionics systems, such as display systems, FMS, GPS, TCAS, TAWS, WXR, SVS, Audio Systems, and Moving map.
