Job Title: Granthi

We are seeking a dedicated and spiritual individual to join our team as a Granthi at the Akali Singh Sikh Society. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading religious services, supervising staff and volunteers, and providing spiritual guidance to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct religious services and ceremonies
  • Supervise and manage office and volunteer staff
  • Administer rites of faith, including marriages and funerals
  • Perform administrative tasks for the religious community
  • Provide spiritual and moral guidance to members of the Sikh faith
  • Supervise and plan programs of religious education
  • Represent the society in humanitarian endeavors, social services, and welfare activities
  • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations
  • Deliver sermons and promote spirituality
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Flexibility

  • Team player
