We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Heartland Chicken Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Determine the size of food portions and costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operation and high-quality food production.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and ordering.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and high-quality food production.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
- Standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
This is a permanent position with a 30 to 44 hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
