We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Heartland Chicken Inc. as a key member of our culinary staff.
Job Summary:The Grill Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine food portion sizes and costs
- Prepare and cook meals, adhering to recipes and quality standards
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Train staff in food preparation and handling
- Order supplies and equipment as needed
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient service
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 30 to 44 hours of work per week
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
