We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Heartland Chicken Inc. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Determine the size of food portions and costs
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Provide job training and support
- Maintain and order supplies
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Asset languages: Hindi, Panjabi; Punjabi
- Are you available for shift or on-call work?
- Are you willing to relocate for this position?
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week
