Job Summary:

The Director of Operations for RTL Construction is responsible for the overall performance of our hauling locations, ensuring seamless logistics and transportation of goods. This role supports our bulk transport and hauling divisions, requiring a strong leadership style to adapt to the needs of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of logistics professionals to optimize transportation routes and schedules.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of transportation plans.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to succeed.

Requirements:

  • Approximately 10 years of diverse experience with leadership responsibilities in the transportation industry.
  • Specific exposure to fuel and bulk commodities hauling preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
