**About the Role**

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Lead to join our growing team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex software systems using Java and Angular.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform in-depth analysis of system and coding needs to identify problems and propose solutions, including program specifications.
  • Develop system specifications, code, modify, test, and debug computer programs under general supervision, in accordance with established planning and deadlines.
  • Master the technical and business features of the system to effectively communicate with colleagues and users.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications and software components.
  • Organize and manage production sessions to ensure timely delivery.
  • Design and model programmatic solutions for complex problems, achieving documented functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Review design as part of deliverables, ensuring code and design quality.
  • Develop and support complex components, and guide the project team in development activities to ensure quality and meet project deadlines.
  • Write unit and integration tests for each function, and participate in regression testing strategies to improve application stability.
  • Provide support and maintenance for the application, resolving complex anomalies.

**Requirements:**

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8 years of development experience.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data.
  • Initiative and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong team player with attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
