Position Overview

The Senior Software Development Lead will leverage agile methodologies to strategize, oversee, and deliver our software products and services. In addition to managerial responsibilities, you will actively participate in development tasks, ranging from prototyping and evaluating new technologies to performing code assessments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring and guiding a geographically distributed team of developers, QA professionals, and DevOps specialists.
  • Planning, directing, and coordinating the actions of the development team.
  • Providing technical leadership and strategic guidance throughout the organization.
  • Acting as a bridge between the development department and senior management.
  • Supervising the creation and execution of software products and applications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in roles such as software development manager, scrum master, or product manager.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks.
  • Expertise in software architectures, including monolithic vs microservices and multi-tiered systems.
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or C++ programming languages.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Strong project and personnel management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
