We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Designer to join our team at Arcadis in Toronto West office.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be a key member of a focused and dedicated team providing preliminary and detailed design services for civil infrastructure projects. The projects will involve working with private and public clients in various jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop drainage systems for transit, municipal/arterial road, and freeway projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads to create detailed designs.
- Prepare drainage area plans and maps.
- Design storm sewers and appurtenances related to stormwater management.
- Coordinate design efforts with other disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil/Environmental Engineering, CET, or P.Eng.
- At least 3 years of experience in drainage design.
- Working knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interaction.
- Self-motivated and collaborative attitude.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a commitment to excellence.
