Overview:

A Senior Drainage Designer is sought to join Arcadis' growing team in a dynamic office environment. As a key member of a focused and dedicated team, you will contribute to the provision of preliminary and detailed design services for civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Function as a drainage designer on civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on detail design for transit, municipal/arterial road, and freeway projects.
  • Utilize expertise in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Prepare drainage area plans/maps and design storm sewers and appurtenances/elements related to storm water.
  • Coordinate design efforts with other design disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil/Environmental Engineering, CET, or P.Eng.
  • At least 3 years of experience in drainage design.
  • Working knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction and correspondence with clients and design team.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative attitude with a commitment to excellence and high-quality work.
