Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kinesiologist to join our team at Cornwall Physiotherapy. As a Kinesiologist, you will play a key role in helping our patients achieve their health and wellness goals through exercise and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized exercise programs.
- Design and implement graded exercise, work conditioning, and work hardening programs to help patients return to work or resume daily activities.
- Teach exercise classes to seniors and other patients, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and independence.
- Conduct regular reassessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with patients, employers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
- Registration with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario.
- Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program.
- 1-5 years of experience in occupational rehabilitation, with a focus on exercise and physical activity.
