About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Broker Associate to join our team at Aon. As an Insurance Broker Associate, you will play a key role in developing and implementing insurance strategies for our clients in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business in the construction and contracting segment.
  • Process and/or issue new policies and policy renewals, changes, additions, deletions, and cancellations.
  • Analyze client-specific risk exposure and details coverage requirements, preparing and presenting marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
  • Negotiate, establish, and maintain strong relationships with the underwriting community for the ultimate benefit of the client.
  • Follow up with insurers to confirm terms of negotiated contracts are met.
  • Communicate directly with underwriters to follow up or obtain additional information.
  • Review and proofread all assignments, obtaining proper signatures and dispensing as appropriate.
  • Calculate adjustments and premiums on policies and other insurance documents.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to Broking Coordinators.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating and sharing with all lines of business the importance of best practice.
