Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Marketing Representative to join our team at British American Tobacco. As a key member of our Commercial Marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial and consumer performance within an assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your territory to deliver volume and market share targets that contribute to achieving national, regional, and district-level objectives.
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience by leveraging digital tools and assets to maintain strong business relationships with retailers and staff.
  • Generate and maintain market demand of our multi-category products by ensuring adequate inventory levels, attaining distribution targets, reducing out-of-stock situations, merchandising effectively, and ensuring a competitive price for the entire product and brand portfolios.
  • Collaborate on special projects at the provincial and national levels with your team of Territory Managers.
  • Drive performance in a highly regulated market.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' relevant work experience in a marketing-focused role.
  • Previous experience in an FMCG or a global organization.
  • Strong extra-curricular participation record.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business insights, strategic approach, and account management capabilities.
  • Energetic, driven, and autonomous.
  • Facility with digital tools and ability to interpret commercial data, identify business opportunities, and put plans into action.
  • Ability to focus on a long-term objective, while capitalizing on short-term opportunities.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Hold a valid driver's license in any one of Canada's provinces or territories.
  • Possess the current legal right to work in Canada.
  • Fluent in English.
