Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Dunrovin Park Lodge, a complex care facility with 117 beds. The successful candidate will work within a client and family-centered care model, applying nursing process, performing assessments, and providing nursing care under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or designate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply nursing process, perform assessments, and provide nursing care to clients
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve client-centered care
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Operate related equipment, including proficiency in relevant computer applications
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
