Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at GR Baker Memorial Hospital.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and adhering to the standards of practice set by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments, plan, and provide personal care to patients
  • Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Work Environment

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a full-care hospital with 27 Acute Care beds, 4 ICU beds, and 5 crisis stabilization beds. Our hospital offers a range of services, including emergency medical care, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, general surgery, internal medicine, and more.

Requirements
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge and competencies to work at full scope of practice as currently required by the BCCNM
