Tax Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled International Tax Senior Associate to join our expanding tax practice at RSM. As a key member of our team, you will provide international tax consulting and compliance services to entities with foreign investors and cross-border investments.
Responsibilities:- Prepare or detail review international components of complex tax returns
- Demonstrate solid understanding of tax codes, regulations, rulings, and case law
- Provide detail review and training staff
- Dedicate time to coaching others in tax software, business process, research skills, technical expertise, planning, and project management skills while engaging and motivating team members and providing timely feedback
- Responsible for client work being performed on time and within appropriate scope of services and budget
- Stay alert to client needs that may result in growth opportunities for the firm and communicate to client service coordinator
- BA/BS Degree – preferably in Accounting or related field of study
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Public Accounting
- Comprehensive understanding of tax law/rules and implications
- Experience with International Tax compliance including, but not limited to, forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and 1118
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, some to require overnight accommodations
- CPA, JD, or LL.M.
- Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $65,500 - $105,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
