Job Title: Recreation Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recreation Coordinator to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Recreation Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and coordinating social, recreational, and therapeutic programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and preferences
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote socialization, recreation, and therapy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless program delivery
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of program participation and client progress

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Studies, Therapeutic Recreation, or equivalent
  • Experience in conducting assessments and building programs to reflect client needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
