Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and clients, providing a positive and low-stress atmosphere.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining the cleanliness of reception areas, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, managing client communication, and processing payments.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary assistant or office assistant certificate an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, with a strong focus on patient safety and well-being.
