Job Title: Financial Controller - Automotive Industry

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Waterford Executive. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial reporting and accounting functions are carried out in accordance with company guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and analyze and report variances.
  • Financial Reporting: Responsible for preparation and review of consolidated financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements, capital spending, and intercompany balances.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, and other applicable taxes.
  • Internal Reporting: Furnish internal reports, revise and update reports to be more useful and efficient, and furnish external reports as necessary.
  • Financial Controls: Ensure that corporate accounting policies are followed by the divisions and that internal compliance measures are taken and results reported to the executive branch of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Business Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Designation or equivalent experience in areas such as audit, corporate financial reporting, product valuation methods, month-end closing procedures, year-end closing procedures, external audit preparation.
  • Skills: Ability to travel internationally, self-motivated, self-starter, knowledge of business KPI measurements, experienced user of spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word, and analytic applications.
  • Language: Mandarin is required for this position.
  • International Business Exposure: International business exposure to US, Mexico, Europe, China desired.
  • ERP Systems: Experience with major ERP business systems.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Consideration is open to candidates located in the GTA who are looking to relocate to the Windsor area. Relocation expenses may be reimbursed, TBD.
