Job Title: Senior Corporate Financial Controller

We are searching for an experienced Senior Corporate Financial Controller to join the Waterford Executive team. This position is located in the Windsor area and will act as a Corporate Controller to ensure financial reporting is carried out in accordance with Company guidelines at specific divisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures (including the cost accounting system), and analyzes and reports variances.
  • Responsible for preparation and review of consolidated financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements, capital spending and intercompany balances.
  • Ensures that corporate accounting policies are followed by the divisions and that internal compliance measures are taken and results reported to the executive branch of the organization.
  • Provides effective financial controls for the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
  • Designation or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in areas such as: audit, corporate financial reporting, product valuation methods, month-end closing procedures, year-end closing procedures, external audit preparation.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Self-starter.
  • Knowledge of business KPI measurements.
  • Experienced user of spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Word, and analytic applications.
  • Multi-lingual, German and Mandarin desired.
  • International business exposure to US, Mexico, Europe, China desired.
  • Experience with major ERP business systems.
