Job Title: Industrial Mechanic - Turbine Machinery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic - Turbine Machinery Specialist to join our team at TransCanada Turbines Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of gas turbine machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance work on gas turbine machinery, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of defective parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate maintenance and repair work.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance and repair goals, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in gas turbine machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
