Job Title: Industrial Mechanic - Turbine Machinery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at TransCanada Turbines Ltd. as a Turbine Machinery Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of gas turbine machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Work with turbine engines and other industrial equipment
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Excellent mechanical skills and knowledge of turbine machinery
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and in confined spaces
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
