Job Title: Industrial Mechanic - Turbine Machinery Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic - Turbine Machinery Specialist to join our team at TransCanada Turbines Ltd. in Anglais.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, repairing or replacing defective parts, and reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair, with a focus on turbine engines.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts, including turbine engines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repair of equipment.
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, with a focus on turbine engines.
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
