About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Sharon Madayag. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
