Role Overview: We are in search of a Senior Product Security Manager who will play a pivotal role in enhancing Geotab's Product Security framework. This position requires a passionate individual with a strong background in technology and engineering support, eager to contribute to an industry-leading organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of Senior Security Researchers, Senior Operations Lead, Security Analysts, and Security Specialists.
- Oversee security architecture for Embedded Systems, Application Development, and Cloud Infrastructure within our commercial operations.
- Facilitate operational tasks related to code analysis and remediation support.
- Foster relationships with colleagues to ensure active collaboration with the Product Security Team.
- Coordinate the Security Champions Program and the annual GeoSecCon Summit.
- Assist in developing and presenting business cases to executive management.
- Support sales initiatives requiring Information Security involvement.
- Manage departmental and cross-departmental project deliverables.
- Participate in audits related to team deliverables, including ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and SOC2.
- Identify, classify, and remediate security risks as highlighted by the team.
- Design security processes to meet compliance requirements and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance security measures.
- Establish annual budgets in conjunction with senior leadership.
- Recommend tools and technologies to streamline team operations.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for ongoing security posture enhancement.
- Supervise the performance and activities of direct reports, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Engage in team development through coaching, feedback, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Support Geotab's global strategic initiatives.
- 10-12+ years of experience in secure development and infrastructure within a technology-driven environment.
- 5-8+ years of experience managing a high-performing security team at a senior level.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on identifying needs and implementing effective solutions.
- Ability to stay current with technological advancements and adapt to evolving market demands.
- Proficient in building strong interpersonal relationships.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to thrive under pressure and respond to shifting priorities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort in a flat organizational structure.
