The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity, diversity, and inclusion, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and training. They will be responsible for developing and implementing EDI education plans, leading trainings, and providing subject matter expertise to staff.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EDI education plans that align with Fraser Health's commitment to delivering services in an equitable and inclusive manner.
  • Lead trainings and workshops on EDI topics, including unconscious bias, cultural safety, and trauma-informed care.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff on EDI-related issues, including conflict resolution and cultural competency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement EDI initiatives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in adult learning or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in coaching, mentoring, training, and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with Universal Design Principles, Gender-Based Analysis, and Cultural Safety and Humility.
