About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at HireRoad. As a key member of our tech team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning solutions that enhance our HR tech products.

You will play a critical role in developing AI-driven features for our people analytics product, leveraging your expertise in machine learning techniques and algorithms to drive actionable insights for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Machine Learning Models: Design and build scalable machine learning pipelines using AWS services to drive descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
  • Enhance HR Workflows: Develop machine learning models that can be leveraged to enhance recruiting, onboarding, and employee learning & development workflows.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, customer success managers, and professional services to understand high-value customer problems and design solutions to solve these problems.
  • Optimize and Fine-Tune ML Models: Conduct thorough data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and insights within HR data and leverage that to drive feature engineering and model development.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Advancements: Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to real-world problems.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with 7+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java, solid understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, experience with ML frameworks and libraries, and proficiency in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Cloud and Containerization Experience: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Publications and Community Contributions: Publications or contributions to the ML community, such as GitHub projects, conference papers, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, good communication skills, and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
