Job Title: Stockroom Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Squamish. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee stockroom operations
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Authorize return of merchandise and establish work schedules
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory, supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or stockroom environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
