Job Title: Stockroom Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire Squamish. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining a well-organized stockroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee the stockroom operations
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer requests and complaints
  • Establish work schedules and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or stockroom environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
