IT Leadership Role at Legal Aid Alberta

We are seeking an exceptional IT leader to join our team at Legal Aid Alberta. As the Executive Director, Information Technology, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of our organization's IT vision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT leadership, with experience in managing IT teams, developing and implementing IT strategies, and overseeing IT operations. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to ensure that our IT infrastructure and systems are aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT strategies that support our organization's mission and goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to ensure the effective delivery of IT services.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that IT solutions are aligned with business needs.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic priorities.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in business, software engineering, IT or equivalent.
  • Certifications in Systems Engineering, Network Operations, Database Management, Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Library, Digital Business Strategy, Cyber Security, Enterprise Content Management, Project Management, and Organizational Change Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in senior IT leadership roles in a for-profit setting.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the field of information technology.
