We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Kamloops Concrete Placing and Finishing Ltd. As a Concrete Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to ensure they are safe and durable.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
