Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Executive Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain the hotel's high standards of cleanliness.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies.
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are meeting the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that the hotel has what it needs to maintain its high standards of cleanliness.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure that all linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
  • Respond to complaints from guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
