Job Summary

The Financial Controller will be responsible for providing financial control and reporting advice to internal partners and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting for subsidiary companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements of assigned legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries for assigned legal entities.
  • Manage day-to-day activities associated with subsidiaries, including cash management and investing.
  • Identify accounting issues and make recommendations.
  • Reconcile differences between management and statutory/GAAP reporting of assigned legal entities.
  • Assist with interim and year-end audits.
  • Implement IFRS changes.
  • Participate in projects to streamline and automate manual processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on reporting issues.
Requirements
  • Strong accounting skills (CPA or equivalent) required.
  • 2+ years of financial industry experience.
  • Strong analytical, oral/written communication skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and motivated.
  • Ability to multitask due to various demands for information and tight deadlines.
