Job Title: Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, and providing strategic financial guidance to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end analysis and reporting to provide insights into our financial performance.
  • Liaise with outside accounting firms and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage the Firm's financial and budgetary planning processes, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Recommend and direct the implementation of improvements and enhancements to existing financial practices and policies.
Requirements:
  • CPA in good standing.
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 10+ years of experience working in a Controller capacity or equivalent, with a strong background in financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
  • Solid working knowledge of diverse financial reporting, planning, and analysis applications.
  • Extensive experience with trust transactions and interest-bearing accounts.
  • Exposure to SAP or any ERP system required.
