Job Summary
The Market Design Leader is responsible for achieving sales goals while maintaining satisfactory profit performance, gross margin, inventory levels, and customer service. This role requires a tech-savvy individual who can maintain the Design Center image through a planned merchandising program, ensuring the Ethan Allen brand is consistent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall performance of the design center, including sales growth, financial integrity, and asset protection.
- Develop and implement grassroots marketing initiatives to drive new business and increase sales.
- Supervise and evaluate the activities of all leadership within the assigned district, providing guidance, motivation, and accountability for performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, including Code of Conduct, workplace harassment, and discrimination.
- Work with retail accounting and Regional Leadership to prepare monthly and annual sales budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in Business and/or Interior Design, or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years in retail sales management, with experience in budget forecasting, financial reporting, and sales growth.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and approach, with excellent business sense and ability to motivate people.
Compensation
Base salary plus bonus, with a salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 plus bonus. Generous benefits package, including RRSP matching.
