Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Banking Analyst to join our Real Estate team at BMO Capital Markets. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for processing client requests, completing annual/interim credit reviews, monitoring portfolio company performance, and preparing presentation materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process client requests, including new credit facilities and extensions/amendments to existing credit facilities.
  • Complete annual/interim credit reviews, which involve industry and financial analysis of operating performance, cash flow, leverage, coverage, liquidity, capital-at-risk, and regulatory capital calculations.
  • Monitor performance of portfolio companies against credit terms and conditions, identifying changes in the financial condition of clients.
  • Prepare presentation materials and relationship profitability assessments, involving liaison with other product and industry groups.
  • Perform other duties, including industry and company-specific research, and ad hoc projects for senior management.

Qualifications

We are looking for highly motivated, mature individuals with:

  • A currently enrolled undergraduate or Non-MBA Master's degree program with a graduation date of December 2024 or Spring 2025.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Outstanding academic achievement and peer recognition.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, fast learning, and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Knowledgeable in the principles of finance and the financial markets.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $90,000 CAD per year, paid bi-weekly. Our total compensation package may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
