About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Second Family Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Assist clients with medication reminders and ambulation
  • Support clients with mobility and daily living activities, such as meal preparation and physical therapy exercises
  • Accompany clients on errands and to appointments, providing companionship and emotional support
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement client care plans
Requirements
  • PSW certificate meeting technical and practical standards
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CPR certificate
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work different shifts, including nights and weekends
What We Offer
